Abraham Lincoln and the Code

How do you want to be seen or thought of by others?  What will others say of you tomorrow, next year, or many years from now?  When Abraham Lincoln first ran for office he wrote in the newspaper that his highest goal was to be “esteemed of my fellow men, rendering myself worthy of their esteem.”  What are the character traits that you “esteem?”  What are the values that you most highly regard in others?  In yourself?  Do you think that you are “esteemed” by others?  The Code says, “I will display caring and honorable behavior off the field and be a positive influence in my community and world.”  Are there ways you can live that out this week?
