Athletes for a Better World (ABW) is free to join. All we require is your effort to act in accordance with the Code for Living as an individual or as a team and to encourage others to do the same.  As a member of ABW…

• To demonstrate how much we value you becoming a part of ABW, the name of your team and/or organization will be posted on our website.
• To enable you to act on the ideals of ABW, you will receive a quarterly newsletter via email, regular mail or at our website.  The newsletter has information on what others are doing to promote the goal of ABW and how they’ve successfully incorporated ABW’s tenets into their lives on and off the field.  You may also use our educational materials to lead discussions about the right way to behave in sport. 
• To help you encourage others to be a part of ABW , you may obtain copies of the Code for Living for athletes, coaches, and parents; color posters to place in room or in your athletic facility; ink pens and key chains to share.
• To answer your questions on how to utilize the Code in your life, on your team, or in your community, please call or email the ABW staff.

ABW is more than isolated members spread out across the nation. There are opportunities for you to interact and share experiences, ideas, problems and solutions.  As an ABW member…

• To develop skills related to performance and character, ABW offers clinics where you can interact with professional athletes that believe in the Code.
• To learn how to tackle the difficult challenges of competitive sport, ABW presents regional conferences with notable professionals in leadership.
• To inspire you to perform honorably on and off the field, ABW operates a Speakers Bureau that arranges for inspirational presentations.
• To enjoy the friendship of athletes with a similar view, ABW offers a number of programs that connect you nationally and internationally with others.

But more than the products and services you receive as a member, what truly makes being an Athlete for a Better World worthwhile is you become part of a nationwide team unified in the goal of improving the culture of sport. You become part of an inspirational movement dedicated to restoring the sport in sports, to teaching the joy of Winning more than the Game.
