"ABW offers hope for our young people that is unique in this challenging time in which we live. It supports the athlete who is willing to show others that they care and are responsible for the image that the world looks for in its heroes."
.
Dennis Cook, Youth Recreation Program Coordinator, City of Seattle
“This past basketball season, the incidence of ejections and appeal hearings was greatly reduced. I directly attribute this to coaches being educated by ABW! I have recommended ABW to other programs, and they report similar successes.
Janine Sullivan, Soccer coach, Milford , OH
As issues arise throughout the season, I always refer back to the "Code" to resolve behavior problems. One of our best players was red-carded during a game and as he came off of the field he said some rather derogatory things about the referee, which I heard, but the referee did not. Using the "Code" as the guide, he not only sat out the next game for his red card, I also held him out of a second game for the comments he made as he left the field. No one on the team questioned my decision, because they all knew exactly where I stood on issues of behavior. Your "Code for Living" makes a simple job of effectively applying morals in a team atmosphere. Thanks for all your support of coaches who truly care about their players, and not just the outcome of the game.”
